Polar Bear Ride 

This annual event is usually held January 1st, New Year's Day. Everyone meets at a predetermined location where they sign up for the ride and receive their year hanger-bar for their Polar Bear Ride Pin. They ride for about twenty miles or so and have dinner together. In northern climes this can be a big event and merit television news coverage. What a great way to start the new year.

Note - Give weather and road conditions their proper respect. If the roads are slippery or dangerous, select an alternate date for the ride.
