The Quest For Diamonds 

While it is seldom that the entire chapter can take off on an extended trip, consider a group of 5-10 bikes going on a 7-8 day, 2100 mile "Quest For Diamonds" ride. The diamonds are the little colored stones that you glue on those plastic laminate maps after you have ridden your motorcycle in that state. Consider planning your route to catch as many states as possible and as few major metropolitan areas as possible.
